Sete Cidades is a popular twin lake system located right in a volcanic crater and a famous site to visit in Sao Miguel. Take in the various panoramic views from the Vista do Rei viewpoint, or consider going kayaking and paddling on the waters. There is also a cute tale about Lagoa Azul and Lagoa Verde. They are a single lake divided by a bridge but look like two. One side of it is blue, and the other is green.<\/p>\n

If you enjoy some creepy locations, the Hotel Monte Palace opened up in 1989 and was the Azores\u2019 first-ever five-star hotel.
