Buttes Chaumont in\u00a0Paris<\/h2>\n

Parc des Buttes-Chaumont is the fifth-biggest park in Paris.\u00a0It was created in 1897, and the park\u2019s most notable feature is the Temple de la Sibylle, which is a temple perched at the top of a 50-meter hilltop, right at the head of a sandstone cliff, which is enclosed by a circular lake and overlooking Paris. The park’s land was picked by the then Prefect of Paris Baron Haussmann as the location of the new public park. Based on old quarries that supplied Paris with limestone, the hill has been called \u201cChauve-mont\u201d or bare hill for quite some time.<\/p>\n

Park Guell in Barcelona<\/h2>\n

Located on the Northern west face of central Barcelona, Park Guell is a magnificent urban park. It was designed by Catalonian modernist architect Antonio Gaudi, who officially opened it to the public in 1926 and in 1984 UNESCO declared it a World Heritage Site. The park was created during the time period of Gaudi\u2019s naturalist phase, where he predominantly gained inspiration from organic shapes and other natural elements. The park is the brainchild of the Art Nouveau genius, where Gaudi experimented and also furthered his style, later resulting in the creation of the Sagrada Familia.<\/p>\n

Keukenhof in the Netherlands<\/h2>\n

Keukenhof, translated from the Dutch meaning \u201cKitchen garden,\u201d otherwise known as the Garden of Europe, is one of the world\u2019s biggest flower gardens. It is located in South West\u00a0Netherlands<\/a>, and the park is covered with 7 million flower bulbs that are planted and replanted every year. The park is open annually from mid-March into mid-May, but the best time to visit is during April when the flowers are in full bloom.<\/p>\n
