AESU is proud to announce our second domestic tour for 2021 and invites you to explore one of the most influential places in music history \u2013 the Music City: Nashville, Tennessee! Known as the capital of country music and home to several important places to the genre\u2019s history, Nashville is a fascinating mix of old Southern charm with sleek modernity \u2013 just check out the sleek architectural lines of the AT&T Building downtown, also known by residents as the \u201cBatman Building\u201d! Nashville offers something for everyone from historical landmarks to great food and vibrant nightlife, and you\u2019ll get to experience all of this and more on our 5 day, 4 night Nashville Music City Tour<\/a>!<\/p>\n

Day 1 \u2013 Arrival in Nashville<\/h2>\n

After checking in to your hotel, you\u2019ll have some free time before the tour starts in earnest. We recommend making straight for the Country Music Hall of Fame to fully get into the Nashville state of mind. Full of photographs and memorabilia from icons of the genre such as Johnny Cash, George Jones, Patsy Cline, and more, the Hall of Fame is a loving tribute to a thoroughly American style of music. In the evening, join your fellow travelers and a local guide for a ghost tour and pub crawl of the city, which is known as one of the most haunted cities in the Midwest!<\/p>\n

Day 2 \u2013 Sightseeing and Honky Tonk Row<\/h2>\n

Day 2 will see you off to local landmarks such as Centennial Park (featuring a full-size replica of the Greek Parthenon), the studios of Music Row, Honky Tonk Row, and a visit to RCA Studio B, where legends such as Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, and the Everly Brothers recorded classic tracks. For lunch, you\u2019ll enjoy Nashville\u2019s local specialty \u2013 hot chicken! In the evening, experience more of Nashville\u2019s famed nightlife in Lower Broadway, full of pubs, bars, and honky tonks all featuring live music and dancing!<\/p>\n

Day 3 \u2013 The Grand Ole Opry<\/h2>\n

The Grand Ole Opry is one of the most famous musical venues in America and has hosted countless musicians since its founding in 1925. Enjoy a private tour of this treasured landmark in the morning, then join us for an afternoon culinary adventure of the best barbeque Nashville has to offer, complete with local beer and brewery tours. With the evening free, consider taking in a show at the Opry for the complete Opry experience!<\/p>\n

Day 4 \u2013 Distillery Tour<\/h2>\n

During a free morning, consider spending some time hiking in the area around Radnor Lake, a beautiful natural space within the bustle of the city. You could also hop to one of Nashville\u2019s lesser-known bohemian neighborhoods, such as the areas across the river in East Nashville, home to hip coffee shops and brunch spots. In the afternoon, join the tour group on a special distillery tour and visit some of the best craft spirit makers in Nashville!
