Although the coronavirus hit hard in Europe, thanks to the diligent work of medical first responders as well as citizens doing their part, the situation has begun to turn around for the better in Greece. Many international flights to European destinations, including Greece, will resume July 1, and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis was even optimistic enough to announce that tourism to Greece could reopen as early as June. If you have been concerned about traveling during a pandemic, which is perfectly reasonable, this news will hopefully encourage you.
